		<description>Well, I&#039;m sorry to say that this is a perfect example of what I call the Game of Scripts. Tech Support nowadays is almost completely scripted, so that they can get inadequately educated people to go through this step by step. You got a very tech-savvy person out there, Y&#039;know... I had this problem once when my motherboard blew up (literally), and took the amplifier and the USB modem with it, but only on the USB side. I called them two times to explain that the modem didn&#039;t communicate with the PC, and each time I got the answer that the modem was fine - the subtlety being, it was talking to THEM, while all the time I was trying to explain that it was NOT talking to ME. I took it apart (against policy and my better judgement), and sure enough, the USB host was a small crater now. Ended up switching to the Ethernet connection - solved the problem... no thanks to them, of course.</description>
